Samsung Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and Ultra Renders Leaked – New ‘Squircle’ Design Revealed

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch 8 series, including the Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and Watch Ultra 2025, has surfaced in newly leaked renders, showcasing a design overhaul inspired by the 2024 Galaxy Watch Ultra. The leaked images suggest that all three models may feature a “squircle” form factor — a fusion of square and circle — offering a modern, rugged aesthetic.
🔍 What’s New in Galaxy Watch 8 Series:
Galaxy Watch 8 & 8 Classic now sport a refined squircle design, with the Classic version retaining the much-loved rotating bezel and adding a new Quick Button for faster access to key functions.
Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 appears in a bold blue bezel with a matching Marine strap, differing from the orange and gray tones of its predecessor.
The vanilla Galaxy Watch 8 is expected to arrive in 40mm and 44mm sizes, similar to the Galaxy Watch 7.
Despite subtle design changes, the Watch Ultra remains largely consistent with the 2024 version, suggesting that Samsung is prioritizing refinement over radical redesign.
The leak, originally shared by Android Headlines, hints at a more unified design language across Samsung’s watch lineup — making the Ultra-inspired aesthetics more mainstream.
🗓️ Expected Launch:
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Watch 8 series alongside its Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 during the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July 10, 2025.
